This year VNG is strongly committed to innovation at the Fira de Novembre 2021, turning Plaça de la Vila into a showcase for the experiences and innovative projects of local companies and organizations in the fields of health, creativity and sustainability.
As a proposal for shared commitment, on Sunday 14 November, from 1pm to 2pm, in the speak corner of Plaça de la Vila, the event will be held ‘VNG Innova: the municipality’s commitment to innovation ‘, where the Vilanova i la Geltrú Strategic Plan for Local Innovation (PEIL), a plan that sets in motion a process of reflection and action by the municipality to incorporate innovation in the different sectors of society. This event will present various innovation projects in the municipality promoted by the Administration, the business sector, research centers and the general public. The Plan is promoted by Neàpolis, the city’s local innovation agency, in collaboration with the I2Cat Foundation.
On the other hand, Neàpolis will present over the weekend the MedGaims , an international project to create gamified tourist experiences that has developed 10 interactive proposals in various places in the city of Vilanova i la Geltrú. You can attend the presentation of the various experiences on Saturday 13th (12pm and 6pm) and Sunday 14th (12pm), in the same speak corner in Plaça de la Vila.
